چکیده
In this work, a transparent and free-standing ionic gel as the dielectric layer for polarization switching in leaky ferroelectric thin films is reported. By applying an electric field over liquid used electrostatic gated capacitor, one can avoid electronic conduction. The association of electrical double with depolarization at solid–liquid interface contributes to reversible PbZrxTi1−xO3 (x = 0.6) (PZT). Using such gels, anisotropic ferroelastic from mono-c-domain toward a-domain studied PZT grown on CaF2 substrates. Our results demonstrate that field, induced by gel, effective promising way investigate ferroelectrics.

Ultrafast polarization switching in thin-film ferroelectrics
We present an experimental approach to study the ultrafast polarization switching dynamics in thin-film ferroelectrics. A semiconductor photoconductive switch with femtosecond laser illumination is used as a ‘‘pulse generator’’ to produce jitter-free, sub-100 ps rise time step-function-like electrical pulses. Quantitative measurements yield a polarization switching time, ts , of ;220 ps when me...
متن کاملEffect of Surface Induced Nucleation of Ferroelastic Domains on Polarization Switching in Constrained Ferroelectrics
The role of the surface during polarization switching in constrained ferroelectrics is investigated using the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau theory. The model incorporates the elastic and electrostrictive effects in the form of a long-range interaction that is obtained by eliminating the strain fields subject to the elastic compatibility constraint. A square shaped finite sized constrained ferr...

Investigations of polarization switching over broad time and electric field domains, in various modified Pb-based perovskite ferroelectrics, were systematically performed by ferroelectric switching current transient and bipolar drive P-E responses. Studies were performed from E«Ec to E»Ec, where Ec is the coercive field These investigations have shown the presence of broad relaxation time distr...

Polarization response including ergodicity breaking and the divergence of relaxation time is reproduced for model Hamiltonians of growing complexity. Systematic derivation of the dynamical equations and its solutions is based on the Fokker-Planck and imaginary time Schrödinger equation techniques with subsequent symplectic integration. Test solutions are addressed to finite size and spatially e...
متن کاملPolarization-induced switching effect in graphene nanoribbon edge-defect junction.
With nonequilibrium Green's function approach combined with density functional theory, we perform an ab initio calculation to investigate transport properties of graphene nanoribbon (GNR) junctions self-consistently. Tight-binding approximation is applied to model the zigzag (ZGNR) electrodes, and its validity is confirmed in comparison to the GAUSSIAN03 periodic boundary condition calculation ...
